Ståle: We need same energy vs Randers
F.C. Copenhagen manager Ståle Solbakken has no doubt the players must maintain their focus heading into the second competitive match of the 3F Superliga restart this weekend.
FCK beat Lyngby 4-1 in our first game back since the coronavirus break on Monday.
Next up is a home clash against Randers, which will be played in Telia Parken without fans in attendance.
And Ståle is keen to keep his foot on the gas as the Lions seek to narrow the gap on league leader FC Midtjylland.
"We need to take the good elements from the Lyngby match and apply them on Sunday against Randers," Ståle said.
"We need to keep the same energy level and pace. We must make sure to strike strong form with several good performances.
"There are always some new things (to prepare for) each game, depending on the opponent. But in these times without spectators and special situations off the pitch, it requires us to have even more focus on ourselves and the results we have to deliver.
"We cannot be inspired by fans in attendance. It is ourselves who need to bring the energy and steeliness into games."
