F.C. Copenhagen appoint Crowd Medic for all games

F.C. Copenhagen will have an appointed Crowd Medic on hand for all future games to assist in incidents where fans become unwell in the stands.

The increased number of fans in Parken means the club has sought to improve medical facilities for supporters, especially when there is a health emergency.

A Crowd Medic is a paramedic and trained ambulance paramedic who can respond with stewards and medical staff, and initiate emergency treatment until an ambulance arrives. Their presence means the emergency response time is greatly reduced.

It also means the club doctor, who has previously taken to the stands to support the stadium's medical professionals, can continue to maintain their focus on the players.

Therefore, in the event of incidents in the stands, guests in Parken no longer need to signal to the players' bench, but instead contact one of the many stewards in orange vests, so that they can call our Crowd Medic immediately.
