Roony returns to training
F.C. Copenhagen youngster Roony Bardghji returned to the training pitch for the first time on Wednesday following a serious knee injury suffered at the beginning of May.
Although there is still some way to go before Roony can train fully, FCK head coach Jacob Neestrup hopes that the young talent can make a difference in the spring.
Speaking at today's press conference before Thursday's UEFA Conference League match with Hearts, Neestrup said: "I'm guessing, positively but also realistically, that Roony's left leg can play a decisive role in us winning the Danish title.
"Whether it will be mid-March or early April… or whenever, we'll have to see, but around the time of the international break, we hope that he is back in business.
"He has worked extremely hard to his rehabilitation, and now there is light at the end of the tunnel. We will see more and more of him on the training pitch in January and across the training camp in early February."
Nicolai Boilesen is also in rehab for a serious injury and has been out on the training pitch a few times already, and today he was there for special training with Rasmus Falk.
