FCK v AGF ends scoreless

N'Doye leaves FC Copenhagen

After 150 matches and 82 goals, Dame N’Doye has left FC Copenhagen after signing for Lokomotiv Moscow. The club’s all-time top scorer will switch to the Russian side with immediate effect.

FCK Director of Sport, Carsten V. Jensen, spoke to FCK.dk about the transfer:

- It’s a bit of a fairytale ending here. Brought to Copenhagen from the obscurity of the Greek league, the first season was difficult and Dame N’Doye had a long road ahead of him. But his time with us has ended in championship titles, domestic top scorer awards and Champions League experiences. Everything has an end and we will always remember “Doye” for his efforts in a great period in the club’s history.

N'Doye came to Copenhagen from OFI Crete in winter 2009. He made ??his debut against Manchester City in the UEFA Cup in February 2009 and scored his first goal for the club later that March, away to Randers FC in the Superliga. His last match (and 82nd goal) was against Silkeborg IF on 23 May in PARKEN.

Dame N’Doye will be present in PARKEN at tonight’s friendly game against West Bromwich Albion, so the club and the fans have the chance to say goodbye to the Senegalese striker.
