Copenhagen got off to the perfect start just four minutes into the clash when Ragnar Sigurdsson rose before the FCM goalkeeper to head home Pierre Bengtsson’s delightful free-kick in front of the PARKEN faithful.

The score would get even better for FCK midway through the first half thanks to the brilliance of Nicolai Jørgensen, who curled a 20-yard effort into the top corner off the crossbar to stun Copenhagen’s opponents.

Although FCM did pull a goal back through Mads Albæk’s neat finish, the Superliga leaders held on to secure another home victory and maintain their six-point advantage at the top of the division.
