1-0 defeat in London
F.C. Copenhagen had the lion's share of the match but couldn't dismantle Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday as their UEFA Conference League campaign came to an end in London.
Rodrigo Huescas spurned the best chance of the night for FCK, who fell to a 1-0 defeat thanks to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's goal 10 minutes into the second half.
Roared on by 2,000 vocal away fans, FCK enjoyed dominant spells and were comfortable on the ball a week after losing 2-1 to Chelsea in Parken.
Elias Achouri and Huescas both went close for the Lions before the break, while Viktor Claesson couldn't get enough power on a header to threaten Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jörgensen.
Chelsea's best spell came either side of half time, with Trevoh Chalobah going wide from a free kick, before Diant Ramaj saved Jadon Sancho's low drive.
William Clem fired over the bar for FCK early in the second half and moments later Dewsbury-Hall bundled through the Lions back line to slide home the opener.
Boss Jacob Neestrup rung the changes in an effort to break through the Chelsea back line but first Robert and then Huescas failed to make the most of well-worked openings.
Defeat means FCK bow out of the Conference League 3-1 on aggregate, with attention now turning to the last round of the Danish Superliga's regular season.
The Lions travel to Viborg on Sunday before the league splits in two, with 10 matches left to play in the Championship Round.
