Dame N'Doye out with long-term injury

FC Copenhagen striker Dame N'Doye will be sidelined with a long-term injury.

“Closer examination of Dame N'Doye after the game against the Red Star has unfortunately shown that surgery is inevitable," says FCK chief medical officer Morten Boesen.

"We will implement it as soon as possible and, with rehabilitation, we expect him to be out of action for the coming months and maybe the rest of the autumn."

FCK manager Ståle Solbakken added: "Of course, this is unfortunate news for us as he is an important player. We must continue to work and others will raise their game for us."
