FCK players react to derby victory
FC Copenhagen beat Brøndby 2-1 on Sunday and FCK.dk caught up with the players after the game.
Jesse Joronen
"It feels great to get yet another derby victory and that means a lot to us - but also to our many fans. We did not get off to the best of starts in the match and I should have done better for their goal - but we were positive, we showed great mental strength, and have ended up with three important points."
Peter Ankersen
"We got off to a little bit of a shaky start, but quietly came back into the game - and I think we were at out best in the last 65 minutes of the match. So in my eyes it was a deserved victory - and then of course it was great that Fischer and not least Robert Skov were back and fully firing."
Denis Vavro
"I am happy, really happy - because it is really great to win another DERBY over Brøndby. We came under pressure in the second half, but I think we are delivering a really good defensive effort and they did not have many chances. So as I said, I'm happy - and now we should look forward to Thursday's match in Telia Parken."
Jonas Wind
"This was a very important game and a very important victory - and it is always fun to win here. We got a little tired towards the end. We had a lot of players who have not played 90 minutes for a long time, but we were happy and ended up securing the victory."
