FCK squad to face Manchester United

F.C. Copenhagen head coach Jacob Neestrup has named his 23-man squad to travel to England for Tuesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester United.

William Clem and Birger Meling are on the injured list.

"Birger will have a scan later today, so we will be given a precise diagnosis, and we will report back more precisely when we have complete clarity on his timescale (for recovery)," explains Neestrup.

"Andreas Cornelius is not coming to Manchester, but that has long been planned and he is not injured.

"He has had a really good 14 days on the training ground and played 35 good minutes against Vejle. As part of his rehab he will train individually at home over the next few days and with the team on Thursday and Friday, so that he can be in the squad again against Hvidovre on Saturday. We find these inclusions and exclusions necessary to ensure he returns as best as possible.

"Emil Højlund is in the Youth League squad with a view to playing on the game against United U19s tomorrow afternoon. Theo Sander will also participate and will join our squad again afterwards."
