FCK Women to face Aalborg Freja in Cup quarters

F.C. Copenhagen Women will take on Aalborg Freja in the quarter-finals of the Women's Danish Cup this spring.

Aalborg compete alongside FCK Women in the Danish Women's 2nd Division and currently top Group B, with the Lionesses first in Group A.

FCK secured safe passage to the quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Sundby at the start of the month, with Emma Brandt scoring the only goal.

The Lionesses had already defeated Svogerslev 7-1 and Allerød 5-1 in earlier rounds, and will host Aalborg in the quarter-finals this spring. An exact date and kick-off time is yet to be determined.

The team is next in action on Saturday when they travel to Fredensborg. The next home game for FCK Women is at Vanløse Idrætspark on Saturday 2 November. The match against Sundby kicks off at 11:30am.
