No away fans in Poland
F.C. Copenhagen will play next week's away game in the UEFA Champions League playoff round against Polish side Raków Częstochowa without traveling fans.
This is due to the conditional ban the club received after our away game against Dortmund in last season's Champions League group stage against selling tickets to the club's away section if pyrotechnics were fired, objects thrown or there were disturbances within the next year in a UEFA match.
There were several cases of the above in Prague on Tuesday evening, which has meant that UEFA has now triggered the conditional ban. Therefore, we will not be able to take traveling fans to the match in Poland against Raków Częstochowa.
The club accepts UEFA's decision and urges everyone to stay away from the match.
This ruling – and the latest one the club has received from UEFA – points towards similar consequences, with a total or partial ban on having fans in the stadium for both home and away matches, if the use of pyrotechnics continues in upcoming European matches.
Therefore, we strongly emphasise again that it is completely unacceptable to fire pyrotechnics at the pitch or elsewhere in the stadium. It causes a great risk for other fans, players, referees and staff at the venue.
