Brandur Hendriksson on loan to Vendsyssel
Brandur Hendriksson, the talented midfielder from the Faroe Islands, has signed a loan agreement with Vendsyssel FF in the Danish First division for the rest of the season.
- Brandur need to play more regularly on a high level to improve further. It has been difficult for him among the extremely tough competition in his position at FCK. Therefore, this is an optimal solution for all parties as Vendsyssel is one of the best teams in the First Division with a strong setup and a very good training environment, says Johan Lange, Technical Director at FC Copenhagen.
Twenty-year-old Hendriksson, who is a regular in the Faroe Islands national side, has played 16 games and scored three goals for FCK.

- He has made a good impression since he joined us in November and we have decided that it will be best for his further development that he from now on is a regular member of the first-team squad, even though he occasionally will train with the School of Excellence, says manager Ståle Solbakken.
