Goalkeeper Frederik Ibsen returns to FC Copenhagen
Frederik Ibsen has returned to FC Copenhagen after a season at Vendsyssel FF.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper, who came up through the FCK youth ranks, has signed an annual contract and joins with immediate effect.
"We know Frederik really well from his time at the club, where he worked closely with Kim Christensen, who was the goalkeeper coach for him at the U19 team," manager Ståle Solbakken told FCK.dk.
"We are looking forward to getting him back and following his development in a well-known environment, and we are pleased to see that we now have a very strong goalkeeping team with Jesse, Stephan Anderson and Frederik, who can deliver to a high level in training and in games."
Ibsen himself is also looking forward to returning to Copenhagen.
"I've had a good time in Vendsyssel, but coming to FCK is like coming home for me," he said.
"I'm very happy that I've been given this chance and I look forward to getting started with some fantastic teammates and goalkeeping colleagues.
"I know some of them before, so it's now all about getting started!"
Ibsen will wear the No 31 jersey this season.
