Jens Stage: It's good to have a rest this week
FC Copenhagen were downed 1-0 at AaB on Sunday but Jens Stage is determined to rekindle the Lions' form as soon as the international break is over.
FCK ended a run of seven straight wins in Jutand and Stage said: "We did what we could, but we were missing that final 10 or 15 percent.
"We seemed a bit exhausted, which is very logical after the program we have had. But everyone gave what they had today and unfortunately it was not quite enough.
"But that is no excuse. It is disappointing to lose and not be able to give all our many traveling fans a victory, especially as they have taken the long trip north.
"There are probably some of us who are happy to have a little rest now in the international break. After all, we have been going at full speed since the start of the season.
"It will be nice just to be able to rest our legs and recharge the batteries - and then we will return strongly with renewed energy. I'm sure of that.
"Overall, things have been really good so far, despite there being many new faces in the team. So we have to find our shape again."
