Michael Santos contract terminated

F.C. Copenhagen and Michael Santos have agreed to terminate the player's contract, meaning the Uruguayan striker has been released. For personal reasons Santos also departs Spanish side Leganés, where he has been on loan.

"We are pleased that we, together with Michael, have come to a good solution that allows him a fresh start with his football career," says William Kvist.

"Although the transfer window will soon close in many places, he is now free to find a new club as he is released.

"The match with FCK was never the right one, but we wish him good luck in the future."
