Lukas Lerager signs until 2025
Lukas Lerager has joined F.C. Copenhagen on a permanent deal from Genoa C.F.C. following his successful loan spell in the Danish capital.
FCK have opted to use the purchase option available in the loan deal, and the 28-year-old has signed a contract with the Lions until the end of 2025.
PC: A quality player
“It was always the plan with the loan deal that Lukas would move permanently to Copenhagen, and now it’s officially complete,” says FCK sporting director Peter Christiansen.
“We are, of course, happy about this, because he is a quality player, and most recently he has performed strongly for the team in the Danish Superliga's championship round.”
Lerager: We will be even stronger
Lerager is also looking forward to staying in Copenhagen for the next few years.
”I am very happy to be at the club, and we still have big ambitions to win titles and play at a high European level,” says Lerager.
“This solution has always been the plan, and it’s great that all formalities now are settled.
“Now we have to finish this season, and I’m already looking forward to next term, where I’m sure that we will be even stronger."
Lerager has played 59 games for FCK and has scored 12 goals in all competitions.
