Unibet Fan Stories: Ken Ejiri's journey from Japan ➡️ Turkey to watch FCK

In our latest instalment of the Unibet Fan Stories series, FCK.dk talks to Ken Ejiri – an F.C. Copenhagen fan living in Japan, who travelled to Turkey for the Lions' UEFA Europa League match with Istanbul Başakşehir just days before coronavirus grounded international travel in March 2020.

Ken Ejiri, 25, lived in Copenhagen for a year when he was 20 and began going to FCK matches in Parken. After watching the Lions beat Celtic in the Europa League last-32 clash in Glasgow, he decided it was time to return to Europe.

Ken set off on a journey that required him to revisit Copenhagen, fly to Istanbul, pass coronavirus security checks and find fellow FCK fans in the city before watching the game at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium.
