Daramy: A full Parken can lead us to victory over Dortmund
F.C. Copenhagen forward Mohamed Daramy says the atmosphere inside Parken Stadium can give the players the boost they need to overturn Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
There are still a handful of tickets remaining for the 9pm kick off in Parken – and Daramy is sure that a feverish atmosphere in the stands will feed onto the pitch.
"It is a very big match, regardless of how it looks in the group, or how it has gone in the Superliga so far for us," says Daramy.
"We have to give our fans a great experience and we have to go for the win.
"We want to finish the Champions League strongly, and I have a feeling that we will match their level. The reason I think that is because a full Parken carried us forward against Manchester City. I think the fans can do that again."
The Lions are currently going through a high fixture programme that ends on 13 November, just a week before the World Cup starts.
Discussing the congested fixture list, Daramy adds: "We of course feel the there are many matches, so it's about us preparing well all the time.
"We eat properly, we rest, we get the treatment we need and we keep our bodies moving so that we're ready to fight all the time. We all want to finish the autumn strongly, and this starts with Dortmund, and then we need further wins in the Superliga and the Danish Cup.
"It's all about having a good starting point for the spring, when I'm sure we'll come out strong.
