Khocholava undergoes operation

David Khocholava had knee surgery on Wednesday and will now be out of action for between eight and 12 weeks.

“David has recovered really well from the operation he had on one knee before the summer, but has had similar problems on the other knee," says FCK's chief physician Morten Boesen.

"That is why we have chosen to have the operation now, rather than run the risk of a bigger injury later. The operation went according to plan, and now he has to recover and start rehab."

FCK head coach Jacob Neestrup adds: "It is of course very unfortunate for David and us that he now has to go through a new process, after he had otherwise come back strong. We know that he is a strong character who will return to his best, but right now it is of course tough for him."
