FCK Talent sign Gunnar Orri Olsen

FCK Talent have signed Icelandic teenager Gunnar Orri Olsen from UMF Stjarnan.

Olsen will turn 16 in the spring and will begin his career at F.C. Copenhagen this summer.

"He is an exciting central midfielder with good technique, lots of speed in his feet and great development potential, which he can hopefully fulfil in Copenhagen," says Mikkel Lund Køhler, Head of Scouting & Recruitment at FCK Talent.

"In recent years, we have had a very good history with several Icelandic players who have taken big steps in our talent environment. But the passport doesn't matter when we scout a player – 'Gunni' is a top Nordic talent in his generation, and he will be really exciting to follow."

Olsen has played six U17 matches for Iceland and has also represented the Icelandic youth teams at U15 and U16 level.

The Icelander will join FCK Talent's U17 squad when he arrives in Copenhagen this summer.
