FCK Talent recruits top talent in Uruguay
FCK Talent have signed a contract with the Uruguayan centre-back Brandon Llana, who will move to Copenhagen later this summer when he turns 18.
Despite his young age, Llana has already played in the top tier in Uruguay and also featured for Uruguay's U20 National Team.
He is therefore a defender with great potential who will be playing in white and blue in the future.
''Brandon Llana is a young man that we are very happy to bring to F.C. Copenhagen. He is a defender from the South American school, who jumps well, heads well and is uncompromising in his duels, which we rarely see in such a young player,'' says Mikkel Lund Køhler, acting Talent Manager & Head of Scouting & Recruitment in FCK Talent.
Llana comes to Copenhagen from Club Atlético Cerro in the capital Montevideo, where he has already been given playing time for the first team.
"He can defend both the penalty area and in larger areas," Køhler adds.
"Now he has to move from Montevideo to Copenhagen and has still a lot to learn, both in playing style and in being far away from home. But he is an international talent that we are very much looking forward to seeing develop in future."
Llana will be part of the Lions' U19 squad when he soon starts his career in Copenhagen.
