Cornelius: 'Great to be back'
Andreas Cornelius made his first F.C. Copenhagen appearance since April on Saturday as he stepped up his recovery from injury – but he was understandably frustrated that his return to the Lions set-up was met with a defeat at FC Midtjylland.
"Right now, of course, I'm mostly upset about the loss but it was great to be back after being out with this injury to my Achilles tendon, which has been bothering me for a long time," said Cornelius.
"But now so much is under control that I can be in the games again.
"I'm not quite at the level I want to be at yet, and of course I want to do everything I can to get to my top level as soon as possible. But it was a big step to be able to participate again, because of course it hasn't been fun just running and training by myself."
