Elyounoussi named Superliga's best player for autumn 2024

Mohamed Elyounoussi has been voted as the Superliga's best player over the autumn half of the season.

The Danish Superliga heads into the winter break after this weekend and TIPS magazine name the best player from the first 'half' of the season each campaign.

Elyounoussi, 30, is recognised after votes from all coaches across the Superliga clubs were collected. The most recent FCK winner of the award was Pep Biel in 2021 and before him Robert Skov in 2018.

Elyounoussi won the award with 42 points out of a possible 55. Each coach votes for five players, who receive from one to five points. Coaches cannot vote for their own players.

Elyounoussi scored points from all coaches, but received maximum points from Jesper Sørensen from Brøndby, Randers boss Rasmus Bertelsen, and Kent Nielsen of Silkeborg.

Randers' Simen Nordli came second with 38 points.

The club would like to congratulate Mohamed, who in addition to scoring six goals and providing five assists in the Superliga has also scored twice in the UEFA Conference League – most recently on Thursday night against Dinamo Minsk.

The last challenge of the year in the Superliga comes on Monday evening at 19:00 against FC Nordsjælland in Parken.
