Parken stands to change to white and blue
F.C. Copenhagen are delighted to share the news that Parken Stadium’s red seats will be replaced with new, beautiful dark blue seats.
Copenhagen is white and blue, and Parken will now be the same.
Since the reconstruction of Parken in 1992, the stands have been red. However, we are now taking a historic step and adding new dark blue seats that will create a simple aesthetic across the stadium.
In 2024, each of Parken's four stands got a makeover in white. Now it's time for the seats, which with their new look will elevate the universal visual experience at Denmark's best stadium.
A completely new experience
"We are incredibly excited to roll out this project," says F.C. Copenhagen's CEO, Jacob Lauesen.
"It will be great to see Parken transformed with the new blue seats, and we look forward to giving all F.C. Copenhagen fans a completely new experience when they enter Parken.
"Our home ground is an essential part of our identity, and therefore Parken must of course also be white and blue. Just like Copenhagen.”
Replacement will begin during the summer break
A number of FCK’s management staff have visited several European stadiums to gather inspiration for purchasing the new seats.
The seat replacement will take place over time and will begin during the summer break. Since it is not only the seats that need to be replaced, but also other structures, the work will most likely extend over a longer period.
The process is being planned closely around the match schedule, with work starting on the first stand (Lower A) after the Robbie Williams concert on 19 June.
It is expected that the old red seats will be available for those who are interested in obtaining them. More information on this will follow later in the year.
