German Onugkha moves on loan to Vejle Boldklub

German Onugkha has joined Vejle Boldklub on loan for the rest of the season.

"We brought German in to strengthen the competition in our attack during an autumn half of the season with many games. However, as the autumn progressed, the hierarchy has shifted," says sports director Sune Smith-Nielsen.

"That’s football – things evolve, and in this case, it means German is no longer at the forefront of the battle for playing time. German has been presented with a good opportunity to return to Vejle and get more minutes on the pitch.

"German has been extremely professional and has put in a great effort. He’s been very loyal, always present at the training ground, and always supportive of his teammates. He deserves a lot of praise for that."

Onugkha has played seven matches and scored one goal for FCK. He now returns to Vejle Boldklub, where he was the top scorer in the Superliga last season.
