New structure for F.C. Copenhagen communications and media department

F.C. Copenhagen's recent structural developments and the need to serve an ever-increasing interest from our fanbase and beyond means the club is to change its communication and media set-up.

F.C. Copenhagen will therefore create two new positions within the club structure.

Maria Krüger Torp is appointed as the new head of communication and public affairs. She will have overall responsibility for the club's communication, cooperation with the media and structuring of all activation work.

Kristoffer Skadhauge is being promoted to a new position of press manager. He in future will have direct contact with the press in connection with the first team's activities at Number 10 and in Parken. He will become the new press contact for all media in relation to the F.C. Copenhagen team.

"It is a result of the fact that we are constantly developing into a bigger club, and in recent years have experienced significant interest in all aspects of the club, that we are now naturally prioritising both our communications and media work as well as the activations work," says F.C. Copenhagen director Jacob Lauesen.

"We have great ambitions to do more for Copenhagen and to give back to the city via various initiatives, and this requires close and strong cooperation with a wide range of stakeholders. As Scandinavia's largest club, we also have a desire to be at the forefront in various ways, and these initiatives must of course be communicated far and wide.

"With the creation of these new positions, we want to further enhance the We are Copenhagen strategy and ensure that F.C. Copenhagen reaches across the entire capital. Our fans, media and stakeholders must experience that we are accessible and open as a club."

The new structure within F.C. Copenhagen's communications and media department means that the current position as head of communications will be discontinued. Everyone at F.C. Copenhagen would like to thank Jes Mortensen for his many years of service for the club. Jes has, among other things, had managerial responsibility for the development of FCKTV and F.C. Copenhagen as a media house.
