Highlights: CSKA Moscow 0-1 FCK
F.C. Copenhagen beat CSKA Moscow 1-0 in the Lions' first training game of their summer camp in Austria on Monday.
Rasmus Højlund popped up with the winning goal from the edge of the area on 31 minutes to earn Jess Thorup's men the victory.
"It was a hot day but nice to experience it, because we will also face the heat when we travel to Kazan and play in Europa Conference League qualifying," said Thorup after the win.
"Today we tried to push some of the players a little more to the limit in terms of the number of minutes played, and we had more who played the full 90 minutes.
"It was again a match where we were in full control for large parts. We had the ball a lot and they were low and compact, but it is clear that we still have to work on getting better at opening up opposition defences.
"They were a really good opponent on paper with many national team players, but we were superior over large parts of the match, and that was good to see."
Next up for FCK on their training camp in Austria is a friendly against SV Horn on Friday.
