Hjalte Bidstrup sold to Viborg FF

F.C. Copenhagen have sold 18-year-old Hjalte Bidstrup to Viborg FF. The right-back will move to Viborg immediately.

“I must admit that this is a very difficult decision," says Bidstrup. "But I have been given a great opportunity to get closer to first-team football at Viborg, and that is what I want.

“It is special to say goodbye to so many good people who have meant so much to me and my development."

Head of recruitment, Mikkel Køhler, followed Bidstrup all the way up through the ranks at FCK Talent.

“Hjalte is a talent that we have been incredibly happy with all the way along, but right now he is not ready to take the step up to our first-team squad. Therefore he needs to have some other options. We wish Hjalte the best of luck from here, and we agree to keep in touch in the future."
