Planet Nusa strikes agreement with F.C. Copenhagen Women
F.C. Copenhagen Women have entered into an exiting partnership with community-driven sportswear brand Planet Nusa.
The aim is to strengthen the community within women's football through a series of special clothing collections created in collaboration between Copenhagen-based Planet Nusa and F.C. Copenhagen.
Lifestyle collections for players and fans
The partnership between the women's team and Planet Nusa will involve the production of lifestyle collections for the team and all fans, with the aim that FCK's Fan Shop will in future offer a wide selection of clothes and accessories for everyone via the collaboration with Planet Nusa.
The agreement also means that Planet Nusa will use their community activities to make football more accessible to girls and women.
"Our dream with Planet Nusa is to create a huge community where everyone is welcome," says Kristine Esmer, co-founder of Planet Nusa.
"That is why we are proud to enter into an agreement with F.C. Copenhagen, where together we can welcome even more girls and women into the football community. The goal is to contribute to everything about football - from cultivating the fan culture around F.C. Copenhagen to trying a football training session. We are proud that women's football is getting the attention it deserves."
Expanding the football community
The partnership between the two strong brands aims to create a common platform for football that appeals widely and creates awareness about women's football.
"F.C. Copenhagen has an ambition to constantly develop the special community around football, both socially and from a sporting perspective," says F.C. Copenhagen's commercial director, Mikkel Grove Lindsted.
"An important part of the community is about being able to show your love for the club.
"That's why we're incredibly happy to have Planet Nusa as a partner, so we get the opportunity to offer female fans more lifestyle products with reference to the club.
"In addition, Planet Nusa fits perfectly with our vision for the club's women's team. We believe that together we can make a difference and open up football more to everyone."
Mille Skat, co-founder of Planet Nusa, adds: "We look forward to developing new and creative ways to inspire and motivate more girls and women to get involved in football.
"Together with F.C. Copenhagen, we dream big of creating a professional setup around women's football in line with what men experience. Even though it will be a long journey, I am sure that our shared ambitions will make a difference."
The agreement runs until the summer of 2026, and the parties expect to be able to present the first FCK-Planet Nusa collection during the autumn of 2024.
