Serious knee injury for Roony Bardghji
The club can confirm that Roony Bardghji has unfortunately suffered a serious knee injury during training that will keep him out of action for the next nine to 12 months.
"We all feel for Roony, and everyone in and around the club will do everything we can to help him get back on the pitch again," says FCK sporting director Peter Christiansen.
"Right now he needs to take it easy to process what has happened, but we all know him as a dedicated and deeply serious footballer who we know will come back even stronger."
Head coach Jacob Neestrup adds: "Right now our focus is to help Roony and being good leaders and teammates so he can get all the support he needs.
"He is in the best hands with our medical staff, and we know that he will work hard with his rehabilitation and showcase his great talent when he is ready again."
Everyone at F.C. Copenhagen wishes Roony a speedy recovery.
