New jersey from F.C. Copenhagen and adidas is an important health reminder for everyone
F.C. Copenhagen and adidas are launching a new home jersey on 10 July with a special message: take care of your health and see a doctor if you have symptoms.
F.C. Copenhagen fans are invited to a health screening at the official launch of the new home short on 10 July in the FCK Fan Shop in Parken. Here, there is an opportunity to get a free health screening, which will result in a special 'FCK Forever' print on the new home jersey.
A simple visit to the doctor can save lives. This is the core message of a new campaign from F.C. Copenhagen and adidas, which serves as a reminder for everyone to visit a doctor if you have symptoms of illness or are at risk of developing them.
Not all Danes are equally good at this, which is why F.C. Copenhagen and adidas want to use the attention around the kit launch to initiate a conversation about an important health challenge.
Approximately one million Danes suffer from high blood pressure, but a third are not aware of it.
Preventive measures such as health checks can significantly reduce the risk for certain groups across our society. Therefore, the new jersey will launch along with the opportunity to get a health screening at the stadium and an 'FCK Forever' special print on the new shirt.
"Together with adidas, we have a strong platform that we want to use to focus on an important issue in connection with the launch of the new shirt," says Mads Jefsen, Marketing Director of F.C. Copenhagen.
"We want to emphasize the importance of going to the doctor when you have symptoms, which is why we are also inviting fans to a free health screening at the FCK Fan Shop."
The campaign is based on knowledge and collaboration with the club's medical staff, who ensure that some of the country's biggest sports stars are healthy and fit. With this initiative, F.C. Copenhagen is now also giving fans the opportunity to be screened by healthcare professionals at the FCK Fan Shop in connection with the kit launch.
"With diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes, we know that early intervention is crucial for survival, and therefore it is very important to remember to get a health check if you have symptoms or are at risk, so we can intervene in time," says Morten Boesen, F.C. Copenhagen's club doctor.
F.C. Copenhagen will set up a medical tent in front of the FCK Fan Shop in Parken, where fans can get a free health screening and get their hands on a special edition of the 2024/25 home jersey, which features the special 'FCK Forever' print. The same opportunity applies on 28 July for the match between FCK and AGF in Parken.
It is FCK and adidas, in collaboration with the agency Twenty, who have taken the initiative to launch a player jersey along with a health-conscious campaign message.
"With the campaign and the collaboration with FCK, we want to use the jersey launch to start a conversation that will get more people to go to the doctor," says Henrik Hallberg, Director of PR and Brand Communications for adidas in the Nordics.
"Therefore, the new player jersey comes with the opportunity to be screened by healthcare professionals and get an 'FCK Forever' special print on the chest. This shows that you are supporting a community where we remind each other that a doctor's visit can prevent many diseases."
The official 2024/25 home jersey can be purchased from 10 July.
