Falk: Glad to be back in action
F.C. Copenhagen's Rasmus Falk is looking forward to Friday's training game against OB - the first time the team has played a game since mid-March.
Danish football is set to return in June after a hiatus brought on by the coronavirus lockdown.
FCK will play OB on Friday and then host SønderjyskE next Tuesday, before targeting a competitive return against Lyngby on 1 June.
And Falk is raring to go.
"After a long period with a very different kind of training, it has been great to be able to work out normally for a couple of weeks now," he told FCK.dk.
"But we're now all getting restless waiting to play matches.
"Although it is only a training match tomorrow, we are still looking forward to it a little more than usual, because it is another small step towards a more normal everyday life."
As usual at this stage of preparations for competitive games, players are scheduled to play 45 minutes before being substituted. Also selected in the squad are U19 players Victor Kristiansen, Ludvig Henriksen and William Bøving.
"I don't know yet whether I'll play the first or second half, or who with," Falk added.
"But now we just have to get started."
You can watch Friday's training match at Telia Parken live on TV3 Sport and Viaplay. Kick off is at 13:00.
