FCK 0-1 Bordeaux

FC Copenhagen's Europa League campaign came to a close with a 1-0 defeat to Bordeaux in Telia Parken.

FCK hit the woodwork either side of half-time and saw two golden chances go begging in a game of few openings.

And Bordeaux claimed the three points thanks to a well-taken Jimmy Briand goal 16 minutes from time.

In the end the efforts of both sides proved futile as Slavia Prague beat Zenit 2-0 in the Czech Republic to secure second spot in Group C and progress to the knockout stage.

Next up for the Lions is the final clash of 2018 against SønderjyskE on Sunday.

The FCK squad then go on holiday for the winter break and will reconvene at the start of January.
