FCK draw 0-0 at Slavia Prague
FC Copenhagen earned a valuable Europa League point on Thursday night with a 0-0 draw at Salvia Prague.
FCK restricted their hosts to a handful of ranged efforts as Ståle Solbakken's gameplan at the back was executed to near perfection.
The Lions' best chance came through Peter Ankersen, who weaved from right-back into a shooting position but fired his effort narrowly wide.
And bar a free-kick from Miroslav Stoch that Stephan Andersen had well covered, Slavia were restrained from going forward.
Bjelland reaction
"It was good, we got a point, even though it was not the sexiest of matches," centre-back Andreas Bjelland told FCK.dk at full time.
"But that's how it happens sometimes in Europe. We got one point and so we're still in the group.
"We needed a bit of coolness on the ball, and we did not really get through their defence where they were good man against man. But with today's point, we stay alive in the group and that is important."
Next game in Russia
Bordeaux's 1-1 draw with Zenit means there are no changes to position for any of the Group C teams.
Next up for FCK is a trip to Zenit St Petersburg in a game that could decide the Lions' fate in this group.
Solbakken's men then host Bordeaux in the final group game of the competition.
