Jacob Neestrup giver autografer på Familietribunen før kampen

Neestrup signs autographs for kids during touchline suspension

F.C. Copenhagen head coach Jacob Neestrup served a touchline ban for Sunday's table-topping clash with FC Midtjylland – so he took the opportunity to surprise kids in the Family Stand before watching the game from an office on the sixth floor.

Neestrup signed autographs and chatted to kids in the D Stand before the game – something that he's never usually able to do.

Asked about his experience watching the 1-0 victory from the stands, Neestrup said: "On the one hand, it was terrible because you have no influence, but on the other hand, I think that as the second half progressed, there was so much calm and balance that I honestly had a hard time seeing how they were going to score.

"It was a tough day at the office and tougher than usual. But it also shows that no one is more important than the team. Not even the head coach of F.C. Copenhagen.

"I think the team was well-prepared and was well-balanced throughout the game, and that's important."
