Second-half comeback inspires FCK win
The Lions went a goal down to Johan Absalonsen’s penalty that had to be retaken after Stephan Andersen had come off his line to save the initial attempt.
But Federico Santander’s powerful header and a neat near-post finish from Andreas Cornelius ensured a second-half comeback for FCK.
The result lifts Copenhagen into first place in the league as FC Midtjylland lost their weekend fixture 2-1 at Brøndby.
Next up for the Lions is a DBU Cup clash at Federicia on Thursday, before a return to league action at home to Randers this Sunday.
