A SUCCESSFUL, STREAMLINED AND INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL DEPARTMENT
F.C. Copenhagen have been the dominant Danish football club of recent decades, but now we want to raise our ambitions to new heights. This means our ambition is to win the Danish championship every season and, on average, play in the UEFA Champions League group stage every other season, and in a Europa League group stage when we don't.
Therefore, we pledge to increase the player budget and the margin on transfers via a change in our squad composition.
In order to fulfil our objectives, in the coming years we will work on the following strategic priorities: The first team, our international talent department, the FCK model and women's football.

A first-class first team
The club must ensure our first team has the competitive ability to win the Danish title every season, as well as qualifying for the UEFA Champions League group stage every two years on average, and for the highest possible European group stage in the other years.
It requires a first team packed with top-class international players via a rebooted squad plan that focuses on our own young talents and top international players, as well as an increased player budget. In the future, we will build up the squad with a significant number of self-developed players as well as top signings.
That model ensures that we have the finances to attract top players to the club, as the costs for self-developed players are significantly lower, while the home-grown players can perform and contribute as elite-level stars when we succeed in our talent development.
At the same time, we will fully implement the FCK model, which includes our philosophy, playing style and training methodology. The purpose is to create cohesion and increase the success rate for developing our own young talent and coaches.
Our future success domestically and in Europe depends on us as a club being clear about our model. We must create a dominant team with the collective as a focal point, and where room for individual thinking, dynamism and intensity is also part of our expression on the pitch.

All footballers, regardless of gender, should be able to dream of playing for F.C. Copenhagen and in Parken.
That's why it's time for us to get involved in women's football and create a team that can play under the club's name and crest. We owe that to women's football in Denmark and the thousands of Copenhagen girls who love football, whether they play for one of our many partner clubs or come to Parken to watch FCK play.
We can see that Danish women's football is stronger than ever, and we would like to actively contribute to its further development. We're committed to creating FCK women's football within this strategy period, but we are not going to set a deadline here, because we don't want to do it half-heartedly or rush it.

We must intensify our scouting and recruitment of talent locally, nationally and internationally, in order to achieve as high a quality of player in our educational environment as possible.
We will add further focus on building children's football in Copenhagen with the aim of making the city the world leader in this field. Doing this creates the largest possible local recruitment base of talent, while at the same time we take active responsibility for the city's children - even those who are not talented footballers.
We must train the employees of the future. Recruitment and training of our own employees is a key aim and a decisive strategic area of action.
Knowledge, high professionalism and ongoing innovation and optimisation of our talent model are essential for achieving sporting success. We will therefore invest significantly in our Research & Development.
