Fans banned from FC Heidenheim away clash
F.C. Copenhagen has received a sanction from UEFA based on the autumn's Conference League match in Vienna, where large amounts of pyrotechnics were let off in F.C. Copenhagen's away section of the ground.
UEFA has fined F.C. Copenhagen 40,000 euros and banned away fans from the upcoming Conference League playoff match at FC Heidenheim.
UEFA has further announced that F.C. Copenhagen will be given a two-year suspended ban from today, which can be triggered if pyrotechnics are ignited again in connection with matches under UEFA auspices during this period.
F.C. Copenhagen acknowledges UEFA's sanctions, as the aforementioned behaviour at the match in Vienna is completely unacceptable. F.C. Copenhagen apologises to the disappointed fans who are now unable to travel with the team to Germany.
