FCK recruit young English talent Renecke

F.C. Copenhagen have signed 18-year-old central defender Waylon Renecke, who comes to Copenhagen from Norwich City.

"We are satisfied we have got another great talent in the central defender position at the club," says Mikkel Lund Køhler, Acting Head of Talent & Head of Scouting & Recruitment at FCK Talent.

"Waylon is a player with a good education from Norwich who we believe we can develop at F.C. Copenhagen – and unlock great potential."

Renecke most recently played in Norwich City's U21 team, but also has a number of youth international caps on his CV.

"He comes with lots of international youth experience from England and most recently from South Africa. Now we have to help him take the next steps," adds Mikkel.

Renecke will initially be part of the FCK U19 squad.
