Thorup: 'Absolutely excellent' performance
F.C. Copenhagen head coach Jess Thorup was delighted with the team's 3-1 victory over AGF on Sunday that keeps the Lions third in the Superliga and still undefeated this season.
An opening strike from Mohamed Daramy and two Pep Biel goals earned FCK three points in Aarhus.
"It was absolutely excellent what we delivered today," said Thorup.
"We shut them out completely at the back and we were very solid throughout the match. Their goal came from a slightly random penalty, and I don't remember them having had any chances in open play at all.
“Meanwhile, we delivered some excellent attacking combinations and it is very difficult at the moment to shut us out. Mo and Victor (Kristiansen), for example, have a really good relationship building on the left flank, and (Rasmus) Falk is also often an important piece in that.
"And Pep Biel scored for the fourth game in a row! He is delivering a huge role on the field, and he has built some really good relationships with the wings and the forwards in his role as No 10."
Next FCK home game this Sunday
Next up for F.C. Copenhagen is Thursday's UEFA Europa Conference League playoff clash with Sivasspor in Turkey. After which, the Lions return to the Danish capital to prepare for Sunday's Superliga tie with SønderjyskE at 4pm.
Tickets on general sale are still available for the game and you can read our guide on how to buy F.C. Copenhagen tickets for more advice on where to sit!
