FCK sign Erik Johansson from KAA Gent

- Erik is a rock solid central defender with international experience from club level and from Sweden, and right now he is first choice for Sweden at his position. Erik has a good age compared to the rest of the squad, and with this signing we are convinced that we will continue our long tradition of good Scandinavian central defenders in FC Copenhagen, says manager Ståle Solbakken.
- FC Copenhagen is the greatest club in Scandinavia, and I’m looking forward to help the club winning titles and get back at the European scene. I had a good start at Gent and played the first 10 games from start, but unfortunately I was injured, and the team performed well without me. Therefore the manager didn’t use me, so when this opportunity emerged, I was never in doubt. I’m really looking forward to my stay here in Copenhagen, says Erik Johansson, who recently turned 27 and has signed a contract until the summer for 2020. Erik will wear jersey No. 5.
