Neestrup: We're well prepared for Man Utd
F.C. Copenhagen head coach Jacob Neestrup says his squad is well prepared for tonight's UEFA Champions League clash at Manchester United and the aim going into the tie is the same as always.
FCK are in England to take on United at Old Trafford (9pm CEST) and Neestrup hopes his players can control the game like they have done for large parts of the opening two group matches this autumn.
"Our biggest challenge will be finding the balance between having the courage to play our own game when we have the ball, and at the same time being very aware of the risk of turnovers should we lose it," said Neestrup last night.
"I love to watch our team as we played in the first two group games, where we were really good. So if we are going to get a result here then we have to be true to ourselves. We know we have the quality.
"Tactically, we are preparing the players for the match that awaits, which we would like to dictate ourselves, because we are going to be ourselves, just like in our first two group games.
"We want it to be a game like in Istanbul, except for the first quarter and the period after the red card, and like large parts of the Bayern game.
"There will of course be periods when we have to defend and stand firm but it's about having the ball at our feet as much as possible and then being good on the ball and having patience."
